Kari found her passion for physical therapy after going through a motor vehicle accident and getting back to sports. She experienced how helpful and important physical therapy can be in the complete recovery of injuries. She earned her bachelors degree in athletic training from Washington State University and then went on to get her doctorate degree in physical therapy 13 years ago from the University of Utah. She has worked in various setting including acute care, rehab, and outpatient orthopedics. She has undergone specialize training in the McKenzie method, spinal manipulative therapy, and dry needling. Her goals are to educate each patients on how to manage their symptoms and injuries through exercises and preventive care measures.
Kari is married, has two rambunctious sons and a loyal dog Lily. She enjoys cross country skiing, kayaking, and being at the cabin with her family. She has served as the Idaho Physical Therapy Association secretary and district chair along with being a member of the APTA. Kari has spent her career getting people back to life!
