I have a passion for helping patients overcome their injuries both physically and mentally. I strive to empower my patients through education and individualized care. I strongly believe in meeting patients where they are, and to help develop a physical therapy program that is specific to their personal goals. I have nearly 8 years of experience working in an outpatient clinic, treating a variety of work and sports related injuries. I have certifications in Applied Functional Science (CAFS), Cupping Technique and Tool Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization.
I graduated from Bemidji State University with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology. I also played four years of Division II Soccer for BSU. I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Carroll University in Waukesha Wisconsin. My passion for physical therapy began after my own experiences with physical therapy as I recovered from multiple knee surgeries. My personal experiences as a patient and a clinician, allow me to empathize and collaborate with each patient in a unique way.
I live in Lino Lakes, Minnesota with my husband and two young sons. We have a six-year-old French Brittany. Personal interests include: hiking on the North Shore, camping in the mountains, running, and cooking.
